Store Policies
Thank you for visiting First Step Organic. We strive to provide you with the highest quality products and a great customer service. To enhance your shopping experience with us we outlined our basic terms and conditions here.
Order Processing We do our best to ship orders as quickly as possible. Orders placed before 5pm CST will be shipped next business day; however, some orders may take longer to process. We don't ship on weekends and holidays.
Shipping Currently we only ship to US addresses in the contiguous states. We offer USPS standard (5-7 day), USPS priority (2-3 days), and USPS express (next day) shipping. Please note that these are estimated shipping times and should be added to the order processing time mentioned above. Please allow additional time for shipments to rural areas. Shipping costs will be quoted during check-out.
Returns and Exchanges We want to make returns easy for you, so you can shop in confidence. If for any reason you decide to return a product, please email us to obtain a Return Authorization Number (RAN): click here to send an email now. Return requests without a RAN cannot be processed. We take back any merchandise returned within 30 days of purchase and give you a full refund (excluding shipping charges). All we ask is that the merchandise is in original packaging, with all tags in tact and unworn/unwashed. If you return an item that was shipped using a free or discounted shipping offer, we will deduct from your refund the cost of actual shipping and processing.
If the merchandise you purchased is defective, please contact us within 2 weeks and in addition to giving you a full refund including shipping, we will pay for return shipping costs, too.
Due to the nature of electronic codes, unfortunately we cannot accept returns or refunds for gift certificates.
Payments We accept Visa, MasterCard, and American Express as methods of payment. All First Step Organic prices are quoted in U.S. dollars. Items are charged to your credit card when they ship. Should there be any delay associated with your order, you will be notified as soon as possible.
Sales Tax The Federal Government requires that we collect tax for items shipped to California, where First Step Organic is located.
Colors We make every effort to select images of our products that best showcase the color and texture. However, since not all monitors are the same, actual color of garments may be different from the color displayed on your computer screen. For this reason, to support the picture we typically include descriptive text about colors as well.
Inaccuracies The information that is presented on our web site is accurate to the best of our knowledge and abilities. There may be occasional unintentional inaccuracies with some of the information on our web site. We try to minimize errors and to update product information timely.
